Generation Recaps

Generation One: Theon

Life Story (in a nutshell):  Theon, with the help of his faithful companion Yoshi, was the founder. He moved from Riverview to Appolossa Plains in hopes of starting a new legacy. He did have a long relationship with Vallari Chandra, although it was never passionate. Also, since he spent so much time working on his LTW he really never had a social life until his elder years. Near the end he did form a very close bond with his daughter Elenore. 

LTW: Master of the Arts

Traits: Flirty, Great Kisser, Party Animal, Artistic, Dog Person

Named after: Theon Greyjoy from Game of Thrones
Honestly, I just liked the name.

Generation Two: Elenore

Life Story (in a nutshell): Elenore never had a close relationship with her mom and regretted that after her death. Elenore was extremely focused on her LTW but since she had started working on it early in life she had an easier time of balancing it and still maintaining a happy marriage with the love of her life JC. 

LTW: Chess Legend 

Traits: Eccentric, Proper, Virtuoso, Genius, Easily Impressed

Named after: Elenore Abbott the book illustrator

Generation Three: Bobby

Life Story (in a nutshell): Bobby married his high school sweetheart, Shawna, but it ended in divorce after they were both unfaithful. He married again to Nadini, but she outlived him. With his traits he had no problem mastering his LTW. Although, also because of his traits, he did have a hard time making friends and never repaired the relationship with his son. 

LTW: Emperor of Evil

Traits: Flirty, Night Own, Clumsy, Evil, Genius

Named after: Bobby Fischer the chess legend

Generation Four: Ursula

Life Story (in a nutshell): Ursula was never really interested in love. She did have her share of fun though, one night resulting in her son Boothby. Ursula was always surrounded by friends and always brought peace to everyone around her. 

LTW: Perfect Garden

Traits: Brave, Eco-Friendly, Eccentric, Green Thumb, Couch Potato

Named after: Ursula the sea witch and villain from the Little Mermaid

Sibling: Hans: Named after Hans Grueber the villain from Die Hard

Generation Five: Boothby

Life Story (in a nutshell): Boothby was one of the lucky ones and lived happily ever after with his high school sweetheart Ginny. He was very close to his mother and his 'brother' as well. Although they weren't on bad terms, he never became really close to his son Benjamin who had very different interests. 

LTW: One Sim Band

Traits: Party Animal, Virtuoso, Daredevil, Artistic, Friendly 

Named after: Boothby the groundskeeper from Star Trek

Generation Six: Benjamin

Life Story (in a nutshell): If it hadn't been for his mother's interfering Benjamin would have been perfectly content living out his life solely surrounded by animals. He only had one love, Louise, but due to their age gap he out lived her by several years. He never really had a close relationship with any humans, but always kept a house full of pets. 

LTW: Animal Rescuer

Traits: Animal Lover, Clumsy, Nurturing, Excitable, Vegetarian

Named after: Benjamin Burnley from the rock band Breaking Benjamin

Generation Seven: Jane

Life Story (in a nutshell): From a young age Jane immediately understood her lifetime want. Due to her dramatic and neurotic behavior she was a difficult teenager to raise. When she became pregnant with Donnatella her boyfriend left her. With the help of her grandmother Ginny, she was a very successful mom. After Donnatella had grown, Jane decided to give romance a second try and married Zac Whipsnake, a long time friend, but with a history of commitment issues. Their marriage ended in divorce due to adultery on Zac's end. Jane never re-married after that and focused her time on her career.

LTW: Fashion Phenomenon

Traits: Neurotic, Dramatic, Disciplined, Party Animal, Snob

Named after: Jane Goodall the primatologist (and so much more)

Generation Eight: Donnatella

Life Story (in a nutshell): Donnatella could never get her mother to see eye-to-eye with her. Yet, Donnatella found her other half in high school. Her husband, Aleksey, had a secret though--he was a fairy. Even though they both understood that he would outlive her and their children they still had a family together. They welcomed two daughters into their life. Donnatella was originally worried that she wouldn't be able to balance motherhood and a career but eventually was able to find a balance that worked. 

LTW: Creature-Robot Cross Breeder 

Traits: Fan of the Supernatural, Neurotic, Genius, Eccentric, Artistic

Named after: Donnatella Versace the fashion designer

Sibling: Giorgio: Named after Giorgio Armani the fashion designer

Generation Nine: Rosalind

Life Story (in a nutshell): Rosalind originally felt like she was in the shadow of her older, and very athletic sister Marie. Rosalind decided to move the Grays back to Riverview where she had a very successful career. Rosalind fell in love with a co-worker and pretty much lived happily ever after. 

LTW: Superstar Athlete

Traits: Athletic, Brave, Loves the Heat, Adventurous, Lucky 

Named after: Rosalind Franklin the biophysicist

Sibling: Marie: Named after Marie Curie the pioneer of radioactivity 

Generation Ten: Jesse 

LTW: Become an Astronaut

Traits: Loves the Cold, Brave, Neurotic, Ambitious, Athletic

Named after: Jesse Owens the Olympian  

Similarities

I noticed many traits were repeated throughout the generations. I've tallied them up to compare.

Although all 10 Sims were quite unique, and of course since it was a lifetime wish legacy they all had to have different wishes and paths to follow. 

I really tried to vary the relationships in this legacy as well. Although I ended up trending towards "happily ever after" overall.
