Benjamin looked at his phone surprised. It was Louise calling, he hadn’t heard from her since their first and only date.
“Hey Benjamin,” Louise replied.
“Louise, what a pleasant surprise.”
“Do you think we can meet up?”
Benjamin immediately met Louise at the park curious what changed her mind about not seeing him.
“I don’t know how to say this…” Louise stammered.
“I guess I’ll just be blunt. I’m pregnant and you’re the father.”
Benjamin looked at her shocked. This was definitely unexpected.
“I don’t expect anything from you,” Louise continued, “I just didn’t feel right not letting you know.”
“Wait,” Benjamin interjected, “This is unexpected but I will definitely be there for you…and the baby.” He smiled.
