Ursula - Chapter Five

“He really does not need to be involved.” Ursula explained for the umpteenth time.
“I’m not a single mom,” Ursula explained, “I have Nadini and your help. If he wants to be involved then he can make that decision.”
Bobby finally relented. “I just don’t think it’s fair.”
Bobby finally let go of pestering Ursula about her relationship and the family came together to celebrate Boothby’s birthday.
Boothby grew into a very handsome young man.
Since they were born only hours apart, Hans also celebrated his birthday.
Although he wasn’t the most photogenic, Hans grew into a very cute boy.
The boys still continued to act like brothers…except they got along for 99% of the time.
Which was good since they were sharing a room.
Unfortunately, the relationships between the boys and Nadini and Bobby were tense.
Boothby always found himself in trouble for chores.
And even Hans found himself on the wrong side too often. Ursula attributed the relationship problems to Nadini’s and Bobby’s jobs.
Never wanting to speak ill of anyone, Ursula made sure to spend an adequate time with the boys. They especially loved the sanctuary of the backyard near Ursula’s prized garden.
When she wasn’t on mommy duty, life was peaceful for Ursula. She spent her time outside on her bike or tending to her garden which grew larger everyday.
Minus the bad moods of Nadini and Bobby, the boys were quite happy…except for one unanswered question Boothby still had.
