Donnatella - Chapter Seven

Marie had been selected to attend Dribbledine Sports Academy. With no hesitation, she immediately accepted. For being so young, she didn't even seem fazed about leaving her family behind.

Back at home, both Donnatella and Jane celebrated their individual birthdays privately.

Although this was not a birthday that Jane was particularly looking forward to.

They did have a family party for Giorgio though.

Then another one for Rosalind.

Both children grew up happy and healthy.

Even though no one at home put any pressure on her, Rosalind felt like she was in her sister's shadow.

She was also very naturally athletic and she hoped that she too would be selected to join the prestigious sports academy.

She spent most of her summer out in their backyard pool.

Every chance she got she worked on improving her skills.

While at night she dreamed of becoming a superstar athlete.

Even as Giorgio got older he still preferred the company of 'Penelope' his imaginary friend.

Soon it was time for another school year to wrap up. Rosalind was particularly excited for this one, Marie would be coming home!

Her mother pulled her aside to discuss it. "I have some news about your sister," Donnatella started.

"I know!" Rosalind exclaimed, "she'll be moving back in here! I'm okay with moving out of her bedroom..."

"Actually..." Donnatella interrupted, "Marie has decided not to move back home. She received an offer to join the Lucky Llamas, she is going to be their youngest player in history..."
