A regular 9 to 5 would cramp his style so Theon decided on a part-time gig at the local bookstore. This would allow him enough time to fuel his artistic fire yet bring home enough to feed him and Yoshi.
With limited funds, Theon found himself either walking Yoshi or taking a trip to the library to recharge his fun and social meters.
It was actually at the library one fateful day when Theon met someone who would change him…
Her name was Vallari Chandra. She was a good 15 years Theon’s senior, yet there was something about her…some type of mystery or maybe it was the way she dressed…anyway something immediately attracted Theon to her.
Not wanting to let this chance encounter slip away, Theon immediately took it upon himself to introduce himself.
What felt like seconds turned into an hour. “I need to get going,” Vallari smiled.
“Um..yeah.” Theon said disappointed.
“Call me 526-7894,” she smiled as she walked away.
“526-7894″ Theon said out loud to himself as he watched her leave his sight. There was definitely no one like her in Riverview.
Life passed slowly for Theon. His comfort level had certainly decreased from living with his parents.
Even so, he and Yoshi had everything they could need. Though something felt incomplete in Theon’s life. He wasn’t sure what it was exactly but he had a good idea of something that would fill the void.
