Theon - Chapter One

“I know it looks big…” Theon started, “but I plan to make this the Gray home for generations to come,” he said looking at Yoshi.

Yoshi looked up at him. “We’ll be fine,” Theon said mainly trying to comfort himself. At only 19 Theon wondered what he had gotten himself into.

In Riverview he was a nobody, labeled a hipster thanks to his apt fashion sense and non prescription glasses. Art was his passion yet no one saw that. He was expected to go to college or get a 9 to 5, but neither of those appealed to him. So he packed up, took the bus and set out for Appaloosa Plains.

With his tiny savings Theon had managed to purchase a plot of land, and build a very small home. It was enough though. It was his.

“Home sweet home” he told Yoshi, showing the him the dog house he had proudly built. Yoshi wagged his tail and followed his master into their new home. Theon was both nervous and excited for their future, though that day he had no idea what real impact he was really going to have on the little town of Appaloosa Plains.
