It hadn't exactly been planned, but Donnatella found out quickly that she was going to be a mother.
At first she was a bit apprehensive...
...but Aleksey's support soothed any worries.
The couple immediately started reading up on pregnancy and newborns.
Which was a smart move because Donnatella's pregnancy flew by.
They soon welcomed baby Marie into the family.
Both parents (and grandparents) were immediately in love with the small bundle of joy.
Before they were even accustomed to having a newborn baby in the house it was already time for Marie to celebrate her birthday.
Per Donnatella's request, it was a very small intimate gathering.
Donnatella wasn't quite sure where Marie got her golden locks, but she had aged into a very beautiful toddler.
The family immediately noticed Marie's athleticism when she immediately picked up walking.
Between both parents Marie was quite spoiled.
...and she was always getting into everything!
Still Aleksey and Donnatella found a few moments to spend together.
And they had never been happier.
Jane also loved being a grandmother.
Since she and Zac were doing well she decided that maybe it would be nice to give motherhood another shot.
